The CLAA's TRV-302 English Composition II course completes the study of written composition begun in English Composition I, using Stratton Brooks' English Composition, Book Two. This course guides students through the four forms of discourse — narration, description, exposition, and argument — treated from a more advanced point of view, along with the study of the drama, the novel, the short story, the essay, and poetry, cultivating a discriminating appreciation of these forms of literature.
